Something’s nagging at me, though; rubbing raw like my cheek against my tongue.
A glance at the Inbox shows empty. The time shows almost twenty minutes have passed since the spam hit.
A bunch of these emails are thirty-five years old. At least half are more than 10 years old. Those addresses can’t still be valid, yet I haven’t received a single bounceback.
The nets could be slow. There’s usually a hub or two down, somewhere along the line. It’s possible.
About as possible as receiving a virus-laden data request from a thirty year old satellite?
