Hello, carpal tunnel!
Not really — or at least, not yet — but today I decided to stop using Dragon and went back to typing TDYK in from my handwritten first draft. I prefer this, actually. Typing feels more personal, like I’m more involved, than when I’m reading it in.
Don’t get me wrong. Dragon can not only go faster than typing (for me, anyway), it’s also a great filter to read the story out loud. Like I said, though, something’s not happy between this computer and the software, so it’s causing more problems than it’s worth right now.
Either way, I’m still at it, and that’s the most important thing.
Oh, and I got a rejection on one of the 3 stories out. Bummer, but that’s the way it goes.
