i can think of few things so equally depressing and inspiring as rejection.

yesterday saw the arrival of my latest agent rejection for NGD, one which i had unconsciously and unfairly put more hopes on. that brings pretty much to an end the list of possible (and even vaguely possible) agents i am aware of, to whom i could send the manuscript, and it’s been a consistent thanks but no thanks.

well, after a spate of silence and lack of much productivity, i have just done 40 more pages of the fourth draft edits for HHNF this morning, putting me at page 104. yesterday also saw the arrival of three more story ideas (two short stories and one possible screenplay).

we continue!

  1. I agree too. I’m pretty sure that I would simply give up if I was rejected. You have faith in what you do and that is a wonderful thing!!
