Paying attention to the obstacles
So the answer to yesterday’s difficulties was, unsurprisingly, to get rid of the last quarter of the writing that I had been trying to save and start fresh. Of course, this was only clear to me this morning, after a day away, but that’s the way it goes sometimes.
I had been trying too hard to get through the obstacle, rather than seeing what the obstacle truly was. This is always clearer afterward, but I’m making progress in cutting down the length of time that ‘afterward’ constitutes, so no complaints.
(and as for the wood, the second cord is only about half-stacked, but it’s all now in the basement and out of any potential rain, so calling that good for now.)
