5 minutes, 1 paragraph, no lights

So sharing a single hotel room with a toddler who doesn’t want to go to sleep because she spent more than 5 hours in a car today is not terribly conducive to . . . well, much at all, actually, but I was thinking about my typing.

It’s hard enough to squint for each word when the only light is my tablet at its dimmest and I can’t even see the keys on the keyboard, without the words in question being hand-written scrawls in fading graphite.

Which reminds me:

Dear Mom and Dad,

RE: the disagreement we recently had about backlit keyboards and me making the case that such functionality is useless because who really types in the dark, anyway.
